Cutting side shafts is an effective well overhaul technology that allows you to increase oil production in old fields and increase the coefficient of oil recovery from reservoirs. This technology allows the return to operation of oil wells that could not be returned to the existing fund by other methods.

Due to the use of previously unused sections of the reservoir and hard-to-recover oil reserves, the extraction of which was previously impossible, it becomes possible to further explore and assess reserves in the underlying horizons without building new wells. In addition, the cost of additional oil extracted from the second wells is usually lower than its average value for fields.
